In a break from the traditional captaincy model, Matfen Hall will be "promoting" last year's skipper, Eric Wilson, to the position of Team Manager. Acting as part of the selection committee with Ian Pilkington, Eddie Charlton and 1-2 other senior players, decisions on selection will be made on Wednesday each week.

The appointment of captain and vice captain will happen on a week by week basis, subject to availability, providing a chance for all to shine in the role of matchday decision making, As always, there will be plenty of experience on the field to call upon, and a blend of thoughts and ideas is sought.
